In order for ST Universe to run effectively it requires the work of volunteers from all over the world. As a result we are always looking for people to donate their valuable time to help maintain and develop the site.
ST Universe is currently looking to fill several staff positions throughout the site. These are all on a voluntary basis and we request that only those who are serious about helping out reply.

Content Developer (The Original Serise/ The Animated Serise)
Section: Episode Guide/ Forum
Requirements:
Basic html (Dreamweaver would be a bonus), FTP software.
Description:
This position oversees the development of the TOS/ TAS sections of the STU Episode Guide. Applicants will be expected to:
· Oversee and update the TOS and TAS sections.
· Enter episode details for both series.
· Upload gallery images as they come in.
· Check, format into html and add episode reviews as submitted.
· Moderate the TOS forum.

Episode Reviewer (The Original Series/ The Animated Series)
Section: Episode Guide
Requirements:
Good English, MS Word, Access to all episodes from TOS and TAS.
Description:
We require someone to review episodes from Star Trek and Star Trek: That Animated Series.
The applicants will be expected to:
· Have a good grasp of English
· Review every episode of both series within a reasonable length of time.
· Be able to submit reviews to the TOS/ TAS Content Developer based on the ST Universe template in MS Word format*.

Content Developer (Deep Space Nine)

Image Capturer (Deep Space Nine)
Section: Episode Guide.
Requirements:
DVD Image Capture Software (such as Power DVD), Photoshop 7, Access to Deep Space Nine DVDs.
Description:
The applicants should be able to use DVD software with image capture capability and Photoshop to capture and optimise images and create thumbnails using the ST Universe surround and submit them to the DS9 Content Developer for upload.
We are looking for at least 50 images per episode. These should include images of:
· The main cast and guest stars, with the primary focus on the main subject(s) of that episode/ movie.
· The ships and special effects shots.
· Sets and props.
· Anything else that you might think is of interest.

Book Reviewer
Section: Features
Requirements:
Good English, MS Word.
Description:
Currently we are looking for reviewers for all published Star Trek series, including the Starfleet Corps of Engineers (SCE) ebooks.
The applicants will be expected to:
· Have a good grasp of English
· Review Star Trek Books as they’re released.
· Be able to submit reviews based on the ST Universe template in MS Word format*.

Forum Moderator
Section: Forums
Description:
Applicants should be fair and level headed, preferably with previous moderation experience. You will be expected to visit the forum under your care regularly and ensure that the forum rules are adhered to. Moderator positions are available throughout the forums.
